SC-WB Study

Social Connection and Well-Being (SC & WB) Study​

The SC-WB Study is a partnership between Dr. Caitlin Hudac (B-RAD Lab @ USC) and Dr. Mengya Xia (DREAMS Lab @ ASU). Our primary goal is to understand how social connections helps adolescent well-being. 
Quick facts:
  • We are currently recruiting for this study!
  • Adolescents in the United States aged 12-17 years of age can  participate either: (1) Entirely online through the DREAMS Lab; or (2) with the B-RAD Lab in-person @ USC  in Columbia, SC
  • Each participant and a parent/guardian will participate in:
    • Surveys/Questionnaires at 3 times:
      • First time
      • Second time in 6 months
      • Third time in 12 months
  • Each participant will also complete daily diaries after the first time
  • Participants in South Carolina will also complete an hour of computer games while wearing an EEG net
  • Adolescents interested in the South Carolina study with EEG can earn up to $242 for participation!
