Brain and Behavior Across Development (BBAD) Study

Our Goals?

1. To help us understand how brain activity is linked to behavior across a person's lifespan
2. To identify how brain activity and behavior change over development in both neurotypical and neurodiverse populations

Who

All ages younger than 90 years old
✓ Neurotypical OR
✓ Autistic participants

What

The study lasts between 1-2 hours.
Child and adult participants will:
  1. Complete surveys and questionnaires (<30 minutes)
  2. Play computer games while wearing an EEG cap (<90 minutes)
Parents of children will:
  1. Complete surveys and questionnaires (<30 minutes)

Where

Participation will take place at the University of South Carolina.

There is an option to complete the study off-site (e.g., at a local community center or your home). Contact our lab for more information 

Compensation

Each participant will receive:
  •  $20/hour for EEG completing all of the tasks
  • $10 for surveys 
  • Children will have a chance to choose a prize from our prize box
